Led by Jessica Lerner as part of her Knitting Fog project, this indoor workshop is suitable for adults with and without prior experience of movement practice. Focusing on exploring what is present in our bodies, with a caring, self-supporting and inquisitive stance, we will find ways to allow dancing to come from sensing the changing feelings of our anatomy, emotions and relationship with forms. We will explore mapping of our interior landscapes in connection with exterior space, exploring relational fields with other movers, architecture and wider perceptions of environment.
The Welfare is a wheelchair-accessible space.
All welcome!
The photo shows a woman, wearing a dark jacket and yellow boots, running on a rocky hillside. The background is a craggy cliff face composed of large, grey stones with loose rocks scattered around. Another figure, lying down, partially obscured, can be seen near the base of the cliff in the lower right corner.
